Coshiva
Salzburg is not exactly known to be home of poppy and groovy singer/songwriters.
An ingenuous listener would most likely expect Coshiva to be from Ireland or Canada.
But far from it! The Salzburg native who now calls Vienna her home put Austria in its entirety under her spell with her second album ‘’Butterfly’’ – released on her own label in summer 2008.
The media were raving, the singles ‘’Butterfly’’ and ‘’Presence of Vienna’’ both got strong airplay all across the country and was voted on the charts for weeks. Coshiva played all major festivals with her soulful live band, and even supported The Sugababes.
This year, Coshiva is focussing on her international success and touring, in Germany and France.
