Biography

Chris Wolff, who was born in Essen, has a classical piano education. Besides his activities as a producer and songwriter, he is also able to write orchestra arrangements.
Chris made his first experiences in the Rash Studio Gelsenkirchen where he got in contact with bands such as Rage or Axel Rudi Pell who engaged him more and more as arranger for their productions.
After his arranger- and co-producer-success for the classic rock project “Rage and the Lingua Mortis Orchestra”, Chris was also involved as producer, arranger and co-writer in the next Rage records.
In 1999 Chris formed - together with some members of Rage -  the band Sub7even whose records he produced and where he was songwriter and keyboarder as well. One of their hits Chris wrote was the single “Weatherman”.
Chris left Sub7even in 2003 to spend more time as producer and songwriter.
By now he has moved to East Friesland where he built up his own studio and increasingly works on own projects. Still he acts as a producer and songwriter, e.g. for bands like Ooomph! whose latest record he produced, 4LYN, Within Tempation or Exilia.
