Biography

Michael Ilbert has made his name as an excellent mixer and recording engineer at first glance although Michael also produced some extremely successfull records.Michael started out in the Radium`s label own studios in Gothenburg where he worked with cult bands as Union Carbide Productions or Sator. Per Gessle from Roxette discovered Michael in the mid nineties and Michael became part of producing and mixing some successfull Roxette records and of Per Gessle`s solo work. Michael is able to do the splits between highly commercial pop as shows his recent work with Max Martin (Carolina Liar, Pink, A-ha) and the "credible" music world (The Hives, Supergrass, Robyn).Meanwhile Michael moved from Sweden to Berlin, Germany and he took over the "Hansa Mix Room" of famous Hansa Studios.
