Daniel Presley

BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Presley is the archetypal American in Paris. After making a name for himself as a partner at the Californian studio ‘Brilliant Sound’ and through his involvement in such production milestones as ‘Cannonball’ from the Breeders or Faith No More’s ‘Album of the Year’, he moved, without further ado, to France in 1999. Even the locals consider Daniel to be more or less one of them now. One of the reasons for that may be his gold and platinum success with French artists such as  Cali and Luke. Daniel studied classical music and writes orchestral arrangements. These particular areas of expertise were brought to full fruition in his production of the Tarja Turunen album - a collaboration
with Jim Dooley and Slam Andrews - also well-known for their score work - from the Hans Zimmer camp .
