Biography

Jochen Schmalbach has been playing drums in various pop and rock bands since he was 14 years old.
In the early 1990s he went to London and worked for different studios as a sound engineer. Here he had the opportunity to work on recordings with top international artists such as Sly & Robbie, Maxi Priest, Skunk Anansie, etc. 
Back in Germany, Jochen became increasingly more successful as a mixer, remixer and producer. The first single he produced in Germany, “Solo” by Tomas D. with Nina Hagen, became a huge success. Various single remixes followed.
