Biography

Olaf’s work began to break waves in the 90s with productions from bands such as Miles, Naked Lunch and Notwist.

The fact that Olaf’s talents went beyond these very credible independent productions, became obvious as he displayed his flair for pop and enjoyed success with the break-through single ‘Narcotic’ from Liquido and ‘Josephine’ from Reamonn.

His ability to pull the strings of alternative and pop together and to brilliantly produce whilst doing so, is unequalled.

Still today his spectrum stretches from The Notwist over Polarkreis 18 to the band Juli ,Ich+Ich or Oomph!.

In early 2009 Olaf opened his own studio "Channel 24" together with his partner Markus Schlichtherle.
